An Overview of Current-Voltage Characteristics Estimation from Plate-Type Electrostatic Precipitator with Three Sections

The paper presents a theoretical analysis on the dynamic characteristics of the current-voltage characteristics of plate-type electrostatic precipitators (with three fields) from an electric power station. Measures were made with signal conditioning, data acquisition card, and PC. It was found that these characteristics can not be mathematically model, due to their permanent modification (have a permanent evolution). They may be estimated, depending on the evolution of other features. These characteristics are important to precipitator automation. The best solution is to continuously measure these characteristics to predict the next characteristic, but must be kept in mind other factors.
